We have released a new feature – the ability to customize the affiliate’s tracking link.
You can now change the type (“?” or “#”) and/or the name (“aff” or “ref”) i.e. the tracking link can be
- http://your-store.com?aff=1 (the default)
- http://your-store.com?ref=1
- http://your-store.com#aff=1
- http://your-store.com#ref=1
Also, which is the biggest part – you can set custom codes for each of your affiliates i.e. instead of your affiliate using
http://your-store.com?aff=1
you can set his personal and unique tracking code, for example:
http://your-store.com?aff=john
Notice: when you set a custom tracking codes, both tracking links will be working, so there is no need for the affiliate to change all of his already posted links.
You can set custom tracking codes for only few affiliates, all of the others will keep their default links.
You can found this feature in your “Settings” page, button “Link Tracking settings”.
