ShoeFreaks Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction This document outlines the terms and conditions governing participation in ShoeFreaks.ca's Affiliate Program. By signing up and participating in the program, you ("Affiliate") agree to abide by the following terms.
2. Acceptable Conduct 2.1. Promotion and Advertising: Affiliates must only promote and advertise ShoeFreaks.ca products through ethical and accepted practices, including but not limited to:
- Owned media or social media
- Linktree or other link sites
- Blog posts
2.2. Forbidden Techniques: Affiliates are expressly forbidden from utilizing spammy behavior, including but not limited to:
- Cold commenting or Direct Messaging promo codes or links on social media platforms.
- Posting affiliate discount codes on coupon websites or plugins, such as Honey.
- Any practices considered to be in bad taste, forbidden by the social platform, or illegal.
2.3. Affiliates are not to engage in paid marketing activities including but not limited to:
3. Affiliate Commissions 3.1. Commission Structure: Commission is earned on referred purchases made only by first-time customers. Payout is 10% of the sub-total of the order, before tax/after discounts. This commission may be earned through the use of the affiliate link (where the purchase is completed within 7 days of link click), or through the use of the affiliate promo code (no time limit). In the event that both an affiliate link and a promo code are used in the same transaction, the promo code takes precedence.
4. Termination of Agreement 4.1. Breaching of Terms: Failure to adhere to these terms may result in immediate termination of your Affiliatly account, forfeiture of commissions, and possible legal action.
5. Changes to Terms5.1. Modification: ShoeFreaks.ca reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
