In short, an affiliate is an individual who promotes a business\\\'s products or services in exchange for a commission on each sale or lead generated through their unique, trackable referral link or coupon code. If you do not have a general understanding of what an affiliate does, please research this before applying.

We are looking for partners who are passionate about herbs and holistic living. Please take note: We are currently limiting the number of affiliate approvals to insure that we are partnering with those who share interests that in no way are a conflict to who we are as a company, and who have a genuine passion for sharing natural wellness. Here are things that we consider:

Vlogs
Active social media accounts that ARE NOT set to private
Number of followers
Clean content

If you do not have a base of followers or a genuine way to share your affiliate information, please wait to apply. Focus on building a loyal following. Your success as an affiliate depends on this, and we do not want to take the opportunity from someone who is ready to go.

IMPORTANT: All new affiliates start off with store credit commission. So if you choose PayPal, we will set your commission payouts to store credit for the time being. We want authentic affiliates who use our products and make genuine referrals to their friends and followers. PayPal paid commission is available to established affiliates. Established affiliates are those who have been consistently active in our program for 4 months or more, or affiliates who are earning more than what is reasonable to use towards store credit.

What is an affiliate?

An affiliate is a person or likeminded business that partners with us to promote products or services. The affiliate earns a commission for each sale, lead, or click that is generated as a direct result of their promotional efforts. Please have a general understanding of how this works and ask questions before applying.

Store Credit Commissions

This information applies to commissions that are payed out to your account at The Herbal Toad. For PayPal commission, see the section below. Store credit commission is 5% by default, and up to 10% depending on how many referrals you have in a monthly cycle.

PayPal Paid Commissions

New affiliates will be paid through the above store credit table. We encourage affiliates who use our products and are genuine when referring us to friends and followers. We do understand, however, that there is only so much store credit that is useful to a person, and some of our affiliates may be interested in passive income. For this reason, PayPal paid commission is available to established affiliates. Established affiliates are those who have been consistently active in our program for 3 months or more, or affiliates who are earning more than what is reasonable to use towards store credit. If you believe that you meet the criteria and would like to be paid through PayPal, you can make that request. Please note that you must provide your PayPal email address for this method of payment. We are not responsible for wrong emails that were provided to us, and we are not responsible for PayPal fees.

Commission On Personal Orders

You get paid out for commission even when you place an order for yourself! Just be sure to use your referral link. You can also have a one time use your affiliate coupon code.

Payouts

Accounts are credited weekly for commissions totaling $10 or higher. For commissions under $10, the commission will roll over to the next period. Affiliates will be paid based off the commission structure that they have chosen, store credit or PayPal. If we are unable to process your payment because of an email error, you will be paid the store credit commission to your account at The Herbal Toad, and your account will default back to store credit commission for future payments. We are not responsible for PayPal fees.

Referral Link Duration

You will be credited for a referral if they use your referral link up to a week after clicking on a link This means that if a referral clicks on your link and does not purchase, but then comes back up to seven days later and purchases, you will still receive credit for that purchase.

Inactive Affiliates

We reserve the right to deactivate an affiliate account that has been inactive (no referrals) for 60 days or more. We pray that your relationship with Jesus and the life God has given you takes president over anything else, and we understand that things happen. We can always make an exception. We have this policy in place because we allow a very limited number of affiliates.
