What is the Affiliatly and the affiliate program at The Washi Tape Shop?
Affiliatly is a third party app that helps stores such as ours track commissions earned by our affiliates. The affiliate program at The Washi Tape Shop is a program designed to thank our brand ambassadors/affiliates that help spread the word about our store.
How do you thank your brand ambassadors/affiliates?
There are a couple of ways we do this:
1. If you have a PayPal account, you can sign up through our Affiliatly app and receive 10% commission on all sales from people who use your discount code/link to make a purchase at our store. For example, you will receive $1.50 for a $15 dollar purchase. There are no minimum or maximum commissions.
2. If you do not have a PayPal account or simply do not wish to receive cash commission, we can manually track your coupon code usage and reward you via sponsoring giveaways to your followers or free items to you from our store.
When do affiliates get paid?
We do a payout to affiliates at $10USD intervals. As soon as you accumulate $10USD, we will send a transfer at the end of that month your PayPal account. Your commission balance will never expire. Should you decide to leave and have a remaining balance, dm or email us and we will transfer it to you before you leave.
How does someone become an affiliate for The Washi Tape Shop?
We usually reach out to influencers with a bigger following on Social Media platforms such as Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook etc. If you know someone who might be a good fit to join our affiliate program, please dm us at @thewashitapeshop on Instagram or email us at care@thewashitapeshop.com
What do we have to do as an affiliate to help promote your store?
We don't put any requirements for our affiliates such as regular posts, stories etc. However, to be successful as an affiliate, it does require you to share your coupon code/link to our site so that you can receive commission or store credits. As we have a limited amount of affiliates we can sign up, inactive affiliates will have to be removed periodically.
What if I no longer wish to be an affiliate?
We'd hate to see you go! However, you are free to leave anytime. We ask that you give us a quick notice via Instagram dm or email at @thewashitapeshop or care@thewashitapeshop.com
